Terms of service

Last updated: October 17, 2026

These terms describe use of SpokaneTech.org’s community directory. Contact admin@spokanetech.org with questions or concerns. Our privacy policy explains information handling.

Using the directory

The website provides public information about technology groups, events, and community development. Public browsing does not require an account. There is currently no public account registration, payment processing, or marketing-email subscription service.

Use the site lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt services, distribute malicious content, harass others, or expose private information. Administrative accounts are restricted to authorized maintainers, who must protect their credentials.

Events and external services

Event descriptions, times, locations, availability, and cancellation status can change. Listings may be incomplete or outdated. Confirm details directly with the organizer before attending or making travel or payment arrangements.

Event organizers and external platforms set their own participation requirements, age restrictions, prices, and terms. A link does not make SpokaneTech.org the organizer or imply endorsement. RSVPs, purchases, and participation on linked services are governed by those services’ policies.

Content and software rights

Third-party event descriptions, images, names, and trademarks remain subject to their owners’ rights. Inclusion in the directory does not transfer ownership to SpokaneTech.org or grant visitors a general right to reuse those materials. Contact us about a correction, attribution concern, or removal request.

The website’s open-source software is governed by the repository LICENSE, which contains the GNU GPL version 3. These website terms do not replace that license or restrict rights it grants. Software contributions follow the contribution guide.

Sending a correction or event suggestion does not grant a blanket perpetual license over all your material. Please submit only information you are entitled to share and tell us of any attribution or use restrictions.

Availability and responsibility

This community-maintained directory is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted service or the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of every listing. You are responsible for checking event details and deciding whether to participate. Nothing here excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may restrict access to protect the service or respond to misuse. Community contributions are subject to the Code of Conduct. Changes to these terms will be published here with an updated date; changes to the software license remain governed by that license.
